Our Team
GGPA provides affirmative specialized care to individuals (teens and adults) and couples identifying and belonging to all modes/types of relationships including heterosexual couples and neurodiverse couples. GGPA facilitates group psychotherapy in addiction, substance use, harm reduction, LGBTQIA groups, etc.
GGPA’s team of clinicians are all LGBTQIA and neurodivergent affirmative therapists, Emotionally-Focused Therapists and Trauma Therapists (EMDR, TRM and Brainspotting), Sex Therapists, Kink-aware and polyamorous therapists.
Below you will find information about GGPA’s professional licensed therapists and associates who are currently in the process of obtaining clinical hours for licensure and under the supervision of Grazel Garcia. GGPA’s clinical associates offer limited sliding scale options for individuals, couples and families. To know more about their approach and specialties, please see below.
Note: Each of GGPA’s therapists set their own fees. Currently, Arami James and Rachel Wiederhoeft are the only therapists offering sliding scale spots specifically reserved for marginalized populations/communities.

Grazel Garcia, LMFT, Founder

Grazel is a certified Emotionally-Focused Couple Therapist and an EFT Supervisor candidate. She specializes in working with entertainment industry folks, diverse relationship structures, including monogamous, consensual non-monogamy, mono-polyamorous, and kink-BDSM couples. Her practice is deeply rooted in being LGBTQIA+ affirmative, neurodiverse-affirming, and kink-BDSM aware. Additionally, she brings specialized expertise as a grief and loss therapist, addiction specialist, domestic violence certified therapist, and brainspotting practitioner for trauma treatment.
Outside of the therapy room, Grazel trains other therapists locally on neurodiversity affirmative care for couples, is a part of the EFTCLA EFT training team and the head of the EFTCLA steering commitee.
NOTE: She has an upcoming Couples’ Retreat – in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Nicole Orsini, LCSW
Nicole is our outstanding operations manager, handling all new and existing client inquiries. She is a licensed clinical social worker and has been working in behavioral health since 2001, however is no longer seeing patients in treatment, choosing instead to focus on administrative and operational duties.

Dr. Tyler Howard, PsyD

Dr. Tyler Howard is a clinical psychologist and the neuropsychological testing director at GGPA. She provides LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse-affirmative psychotherapy to individuals and couples, specializing in issues related to gender and sexual identity, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. With a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Dr. Howard integrates psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches with a focus on social healing. She also conducts neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.

Sarah Liang, AMFT, APCC

Sarah is a neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist specializing in Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT). Her approach is relational and systems-informed, tailoring evidence and attachment based practices to each client’s unique needs. As an Asian American woman and daughter of immigrants, Sarah brings lived understanding of navigating multiple cultural worlds. She approaches therapy through an intersectional lens, creating a safe space to explore emotional patterns. Sarah helps individuals and couples strengthen communication, trust, and connection. She supports clients with anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, and relational growth. Sarah holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. She is pursuing dual MFT and PCC licensure under the supervision of Grazel Garcia, LMFT #97561.

She specializes in relationship dynamics, premarital counseling, and emotional processing, helping clients navigate challenges like anxiety, grief, and unresolved trauma. With a background in philosophy and theology alongside a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Tiffany incorporates a holistic perspective into her work. Additionally, she is a certified Brainspotting therapist and have been trained in Havening, both for use with trauma care. She approaches therapy through a non-pathologizing attachment lens, creating a space where clients can explore the origins of their patterns while discovering new possibilities for connection and growth. Rachel Wiederhoeft, ASW

Rachel Wiederhoeft (she/they) is an Associate Clinical Social Worker and LGBQ/ 2STGI+ affirmative therapist. Before entering clinical practice, she spent over a decade in the film industry working as an IATSE camera department member. Rachel holds certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Palliative Care, and SafeTALK Suicide Prevention. She approaches therapy through a holistic, anti-oppressive lens that integrates parts work, somatic feeling, and creative expression. She is a registered associate clinical social worker under the supervision of Grazel Garcia, LMFT.
