In the heart of Los Angeles, Grazel Garcia has dedicated her practice to helping couples find their way back to connection through the transformative power of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
EFT Credentials That Matter
What sets Grazel apart is her comprehensive mastery of the EFT model. She holds the rare distinction of certification in all three EFT applications:
- Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist for Couples (EFCT)
- Certified Emotionally Focused Individual Therapist (EFIT)
- Certified Emotionally Focused Family Therapist (EFFT)
This trifecta of expertise allows her to understand relationship dynamics from multiple perspectives, bringing unusual depth to her Hold Me Tight workshops.

Learning From the Masters
Grazel’s journey with EFT includes direct training with the approach’s most influential figures:
- Began EFT studies in 2010
- Completed EFT Externship and Core Skills training (2017-2018)
- Advanced training with Sue Johnson and Leanne Campbell
- Specialized work on Attachment Injury Repair Model (AIRM) with Lorie Brubacher and on EFIT applications
- Advanced couple work with George Faller on highly escalated couples
- Advanced training on Attachment Injury Repair Model (AIRM) with Jim Furrow and Lisa Palmer-Olson
- EFFT training with Jim Furrow and Gail Palmer
Her ongoing commitment to the model includes serving as a Core Skills Training Helper alongside master EFT therapists and trainers Silvina Irwin and Michael Barnett, where she helps train other therapists in developing EFT competencies.
The Hold Me Tight Experience
In Grazel’s workshops, couples move beyond surface conflicts to discover the attachment needs driving their interaction patterns. Her facilitation creates a safe container for vulnerability while offering clear guidance through the evidence-based Hold Me Tight program.
